Focus Training: At the moment of impact, the controller strobes 2 sunlight-viewable LED’s, visible in both forehand and backhand, to allow the player to know where they are looking at the precise point in time when the ball strikes the paddle. Ideally, their eyes are locked on the ball until impact, but even expert players have difficulty knowing if they are following this discipline or not.

Sweet Spot Training: After the impact of the ball is sensed, the output of the pressure sensor is read by the controller and translated into an audio feedback that says “Sweet” if the sweet spot of the paddle is struck or “In”, “Out”, “Left” or “Right” if the sweet spot is missed. This provides instant feedback to the player on the accuracy of their approach to the ball.

Statistics: The controller also gathers statistics, such as the percentage of total hits that contacted the sweet spot of the paddle, which are also announced with a digitized voice that can be played back at any time. Statistics can be accumulated or cleared between different sessions or for different players.
